Shisa translation is billed by the source text submitted, priced per 1,000 input characters.

New accounts receive $10 in free API credits to spend across any Shisa API.
Current rates
The per-character rate is listed on the Shisa pricing page and in your platform dashboard, which reflects the rate for your account and plan.
Notes
- Only source/input text characters are billed. Generated translation characters are not added to the billing unit.
- All prices are subject to applicable taxes.
- Volume discounts are available — contact us for details.
- Responses report token
usagefor observability; those token counts are not the character-based billing unit.
